The poster features Australian animals as the 12 “gifts”, with each animal depicted signing their own name, while many of them are performing other unexpected actions. The song lyrics have been specially adapted for Auslan by including sign combinations/phrases featuring alliterative use of handshapes, which is like the sign language equivalent of “rhyme” in spoken language. Pretty cool huh?
