Our Auslan Aussie 12 Days of Xmas Song Downloadable Resource Pack is just what you need!
This specially adapted Auslan song makes an ideal Xmas activity for Auslan students in the classroom, school assembly, Christmas concert, or even for adult Auslan students.
The song lyrics have been specially adapted for Auslan by including sign combinations/phrases featuring alliterative use of handshapes, which is like the sign language equivalent of “rhyme” in spoken language. Pretty cool huh?
The downloadable kit includes: teachers guide with full lyrics, access to a demonstration video of the song being performed in Auslan, A4 black & white hand-out / colouring version.
A matching colour poster also available for purchase from our store in A1+ or A2+. The poster features Australian animals as the 12 “gifts”, with each animal depicted signing their own name, while many of them are performing other unexpected actions.
